Mazaar – e – Quaid

Quaid e azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan and his final resting place is the Mazaar e Quaid. This beautiful white marble tomb is designed by the great architecture Yahya Merchant. There is peaceful environment and beautiful garden around this tomb. This stunning National Mausoleum was completed in 1960. It is the best tourist destination for locals as well as international visitors. His sister Fatima Jinnah and first prime minister of Pakistan are buried here.

QUAID-E-AZAM MUSEUM

Flagstaff House or  Quaid-e-Azam museum is located at Shahrah-e-Faisal. This building was constructed in 1886 and Moses Somake  was designer of this beautiful building. Quaid azam purchased it in 1943 from Mr. Sorab Kavasji Katrak, a former Mayor of Karachi. In 1947 Jinnah’s personal belongings were transferred in this building.

Churna Island and its water sports

Churna Island is hidden paradise situated in the Arabian Sea. It is only 2 hours drive from central Karachi. Churna island is the best destination in Pakistan for swim, snorkel, Jet skiing and for scuba diving. Best timing to visit this stunning destination is from September to April. Under water pictures of this stunning island is the life time experience and may be one of the best memories of the life. Churna island is also Pakistan army’s shooting range. There are large number of water species around this island so it is also best place for fishermen.

Mohatta Palace

Agha ahmad Hussain is designer of this beautiful building which was constructed in 1925 by a hindu prince in the posh seaside locale of Clifton as the summer home of Shabbir Khan Mohatta. This beautiful building is an art gallery and museum now a day. It is constructed on RajasthanI style because Shabbier Khan Mohatta belonged to Rajasthan.

PAF Museum

PAF museum was establish in 1990 and was extended from 1999 to 2004 which is located near Karsaz Flyover on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are aircraft, weapons, radar and fighter aircraft displayed. Vickers VC.1 Viking aircraft used by founder of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah is also displayed in this museum. Scale models of some World War I, World War II are also displayed in this museum. A vast garden with beautiful places to relax is attached to this museum.

Turtle spotting at Turtle Beach

Turtle Beach is the green sea turtle’s home because the came out and lay their eggs in the sand of this beach. Turtles lay eggs in winter season.

Frere Hall


This was Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere who constructed this building in 1865 when he was Chief Commissioner of Sindh. British Indian soldiers used it as library. It was converted into monumental by the people of Sindh to tribute the commissioner and now it is a library and is an art gallery. There is a lush green garden around the stunning Frere Hall.  It was designed by Henry Saint Clair Wilkins.

The Chaukhandi Tombs

The Chaukhandi Tombs is UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Chaukhandi Tombs are the tombs of the ancestors of a local tribe. These tombs were built during 15th to 18th centuries during Mughal rule.  These tombs covers the area of  two square miles.

Tooba Masjid

One of the most beautiful attraction of Karachi is Tooba mosque. Due to its large domed roof which is 236 feet in diameter it is also called Gol mosque. There is no central pillars to support the roof and is balanced on only low surrounding wall. It has the capacity of 5000 people to worship at a time

Pakistan Maritime Museum

This stunning and modern museum is constructed within the park of 28 acres. It has a beautiful auditorium and 11 galleries which show the artifacts of different era from Indus Valley Civilization up to modern times. Students and visitors are facilitated with computer based maritime information retrieval system. This museum show all the surfaces of Pakistani culture.

Ibn-e-Qasim Park

Ibn-e-Qasim Park is the largest park of Karachi which occupy the the area of 130 acres. Almost 10 million local and international visitors visit this park every year

Empress Market

This is the most popular shopping area of Karachi. Morning time is the best time for shopping when there is no rush. It offer all things to bur such as live animals and pets, textiles, stationery, imaginable groceries and jewelry. 

Do Darya

Do Darya is known as food lover’s paradise in Karachi which is built on seashore. There are number of cafés and restaurants which offer all type food to visitors. 

Arabian Sea Country Club

This club offers different activities such as cricket, squash, tennis, snooker, shooting,  horseback riding, golf  and swimming.

Cape Monze Beach

Cape monze beach is called Mount beach locally. This beach is the home of endangered species like dolphins, whales and turtles. Beautiful hill offers a stunning view of sky blue and horizon.
